I first had the idea back in 1997 of a business card with a calendar on the reverse side.

I made my first batch of my new style calendar business cards and started handing them out. Initially I thought nothing of it. However, over the next few months, and on a regular basis, I was being asked if I had any more of my business cards. This was music to my ears. So I would print more and more of my calendar business cards and would continue to hand them out quicker and quicker. This went on for the next 2 years.

Website Launch
In 1999, I then decided that I would make my Calendar Cards available on the web, as by now all I seemed to be doing was printing Calendar Cards for everyone free of charge (but with my company details on the cards of course). By putting them on the web, people could print off the Calendar Cards for themselves.

So there it was, back in 1999, that Calendar-Cards.com was born.

Website Growth
The first two months after the launch of the website, it was just ticking over. However I was not marketing the website at all. Then suddenly from one morning forwards, my inbox was receiving 500 emails a day from people requesting my Calendar Cards. What was going on I asked myself? My first thought was that it was someone winding me up. So I replied to a handful of email addresses and discovered that they had found a link to Calendar-Cards.com on the website free.com. I was amazed that they were linking to Calendar-Cards.com. Furthermore, I could not believe how many people were showing an interest in my Calendar Cards.

Since then I've never looked back. Calendar-Cards.com has always continued to grow in popularity consistently year after year.

Technology
At first I had a very useful program on my PC that produced the Calendar Cards. It took 5 minutes to copy the user's information from their email, put it on to the Calendar Cards, convert the Calendar Cards in to PDF format and send the cards back to the user. That was the good old days.

Then in 2005, we developed Calendar-Cards.com to a fully online instant Calendar Card maker.

The Future
And now we have plans to make Calendar-Cards.com even better. With over 60,000 users a year and growing, we hope to bring you a better range of online calendar services.
